Naresh Kumar Kela is a highly skilled electrical engineer with a passion for clean energy solutions. With almost 5 years of experience in software development for electric and hybrid vehicles, he possesses excellent knowledge of electric and hybrid traction drives and their controls. Naresh has worked on software development, software and hardware integrations, verification and validation with Hardware In Loop (Automation testing HIL) areas. In the span of 5 years, Naresh has worked on model-based development of functionalities for electric and hybrid vehicles and for new/existing vehicle ECUs and VCUs. Currently, he is handling High Voltage Safety Software development for MB TRUCKS and fuel cell vehicles. He is also well-versed in SW and HW configuration for HIL systems, plant model creation, software integration, I/o channel configuration, and CAN channel configuration in configuration tools. Naresh's expertise also includes verification and validation (V&V) with test script development and execution in dSpace Automation Desk & Synect 2.8, and development of new libraries in Python. Naresh's skill-set includes High Voltage Safety Software development for electric truck and fuel cell vehicles, controls of EV/HEV, MBD, and Automation testing only (not manual testing). He is also proficient in vehicle level testing (ETAS- INCA, Intecrio, MDA), Vector CANoe, and has good knowledge of electric drives, model-based development using MATLAB-Simulink/Stateflow, V&V using dSpace HIL and Etas Inca, and communication protocols such as CAN and LIN. Naresh is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Daimler Truck Innovation Center India (DTICI). He has previously worked at Nexteer Automotive as a System Engineer and at FEV India as a Project Engineer in the Electrical and Electrification department. Naresh completed his Engineer's Degree in Electrical Engineering from JECRC in 2017. In addition to his technical skills, Naresh is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
